A) there are too many question to answer in one question it would take too long, obviously shopping is so different even from 10 years ago, when i was little 30 years ago it was obviuously so different with very few large supermarkets only one in south wales where i lived then and that was a large hypermarket in caerphilly, but mostly small shops and markets, yes freezers yes fridges, not much variety as there wasnt so much competition from other brands, dispalys were simple, hope that helps a bit.

Shops around Brent Cross shopping centre?

Q) Does anyone know where the shops are outside the shopping centre. I was told there are other department stores that are not in the actual shopping centre, but are outside of it. What road would they be on in that case? Do you have to walk around the shopping centre to get to them? I usually park in the car park and go into the centre through John Lewis. I thought all the shops there were inside the centre, but I’m told that is wrong.

A) Hi there…i go to brent cross all the time..The shops outside the main brent cross are actually a few minutes before you get to brent cross if your coming from staples corner side…you can see them clearly as you drive by..To make it easier for you…if you know were the bus station is outside brent cross, take the bus 266 route..it takes u right outside these shops..there is also a carpark..it has Next, TK Max, Boarders, SportsWorld and other shops..but if you ask around in Brent cross, someone should be able to tell you the directions..it only takes about 3-5mins drive from brent cross. Good luck in finding….

I need an American for some shopping advice in Florida!!?

Q) I am a confirmed shopoholic, shop all round the world!! Often frequent Florida for Disney for the kids & I shop – am researching all the shops I specifically want to go to but in view of taking 2 young kids don’t want to waist time trying to find shops and driving round getting lost so have done a list of the shops I know and have found but if anyone is from or knows Orlando and surrounding areas well – can offer some help on good shops and malls that would cover shopping for the following: Diamonds. Designer Goods (Gucci/Burberry etc – mainly bags). Juicy Couture – Adults & Kids. Kids clothes (designer and unusual items – Girls). Toy shops (other than Toys r Us – for Girls). Cowboy Boots for kids (shopped before I think in Sheplars!!). Kids shops (accessories/bedroom decor etc – Girls). Bratz stuff – Is ths big in the US?. Yankee Candles. Cosmetics etc (American brands rather than UK). The list is endless but that should cover main stuff!! Thanks!!!

A) I think you need to go to one of their designer outlet village malls. There is one called something like Saw Mills. If you look on the internet you are bound to find them all. Lucky you – all that shopping – you’ll get lots for your Dollars too!!

Shopping in Nottingham!!?

Q) Hi guys – my sisters going to Nottingham tomorrow, to look at the Nottingham University – and shes putting some shopping time in. Just a question on her behalf. How good is the shopping in Nottingham? Can you recommend any shops that are a bit of the beaten track where she can get a few unusual items from maybe? What are the other shops like?

A) Nottingham is great for shopping. Just go into the shopping centre, and there are loads of small streets going off that with shops. It’s pretty easy to get round, you can’t get lost! Couple of good shopping centres aswell, just off the main square there is the Victoria Shopping Centre which is pretty good. Theres a very good tram system in the city aswell so it’s easy to get around.

I dislike shopping intensley, mainly clothes but daily grocery shopping as well. Do you like shopping? Why?

Q) Perhaps I am a bit odd, but I really loathe and detest shopping for clothes. When I was younger, I went with all the latest trends butr now, ithe very idea just brings me out in a cold sweat. Firstly,I am older, “trendy” things just look yuck on me.Besides, I don’t like sparkly,spangly things. As well, I don’t want to show half my bum to the whole world (the world is most likely very glad of it as well) Plus, I only like plain T-shirts, I have no statement to make. I have the most impossible hair as well, so elegance is hard achieved; anyway, I’m too lazy most of the time. While I prefer quality overall, I get outraged at the prices of some of these products..God, I could have a trip overseas instead! Then, when I do venture into a clothe shop, they pester me like hell, Yes I am in need of help, just not ridiculous!! I s’pose I am too simple for the main shopping drag strip but still, I need some new Duds, mine are all (literally) falling apart. Drat, drat drat it all.!!Comments?? To all you nice, nice people that gave me such marvellous responses; Thank you so very much!! It is a huge comfort to know I am not the only one that feels this way. The great tips and encouragement you have given me will help fortify me towards braving the stores. I still shudder but it is a necessary evil,else I will soon be exposing more than just my aforementioned piece of anatomy! Still, if all turns to custard and I do make those fatal pressure choices, or go home empty handed,,Ecky boys suggestion might be my best option(tho my kids would disown me!) Along with all the reasons why you don’t like to shop ( same here) I think my biggest prob is out and out fear. I just feel totally intimidated! I tell myself not to be such a great booby but it’s not easy when approached by immaculate salespeople, who seem to hone in on it. A) I am 110% with you on this subject! What’s with the hip huggers and the short tee’s anyway? They look great on someone who weighs 100 pounds and 20 years old. Take us on the 30 something with a little rounder hips and tummies because we are mommies, we don’t do this kid of clothes. It is so depressing. As far as shopping for food or anything, I hate shopping. People are so rude, they don’t move over in the isle. No one says excuse me anymore. It always seems like the check out lines get longer each time, and I always seem to get in the line that isn’t moving! I HATE shopping. I’d love to hire someone to shop for me and never have to go again!

A) when i was little i went shopping every weekend with my grandma and grandpa things changed after my grannpa died and now she is seeing a fat very rude guy and now i go with my mom cousins sister sometimes with my grandma very little though i don’t care went any one thinks and i guess i never thought about what they thought i juts have fun i don’t know what you would do if i were you i would just try not to think about it and have a fun night out go shopping whatch a movie and by the way your lucky to have a gay friend

A) i would say somewhere from 250 to 400 dollars. make sure you get the clearance stuff thou, or you’ll run out of money.

A) Where I live, it’s about shopping malls. I guess it’s convenient for everyone. When I was a teen, I got dropped off there and picked up. I went to Mandee’s, Macy’s, Lerner, The Limited, Express, and CVS for makeup. I guess nowadays it’s the same but there are newer stories–Abercrombie, Sephora. Oh, I remember hanging out at the food court too. I’d run into classmates and other teens. I guess there was a whole culture around malls when I was a kid!

A) ross is one of those discount stores that no ones knows about so it doesnt have much of any kind of reputation. the bigger discounters like tj maxx, and marshalls we know because they advertise. i have been a few ross around the country and although they look ugly inside i have bought some GREAT designer shoes and clothes over there — u should shop there — but keep it a secret!!

A) for spring, i see many stripe and polka dots clothing around i have them myself. plaid/jeans bermuda shorts are cute. im in need for some shades (sunglasses). uhh…dont forget your sunblock, you dont wanna look wrinkle because that what the sun does to your skin. trust me i know.
